Smart Farming Awareness  –  Following the development of technology applications to optimize irrigation using intelligent algorithms and technology functionalities, that has won the second prize globally, launching an awareness campaign among Jordanian farmers, university students and stakeholders, including a number of awareness workshops on site and webinars to introduce to smart farming and effective use of technology to support agriculture and farming in Jordan and its potential to farmers as well as clients and the Jordanian economy. The initiative supported by Global Solutions Sustainability Challenge funders IREX and Stevens Initiative is of strategic nature and is intended to maintain links between the farming communities and academia to create synergy on the long run.
